We have a Careers Committee whose remit includes dealing with inquiries and applications from candidates who are not in pupillage. The committee consists of members who have joined us from other Firms who also understand the sensitivities and difficulties involved in a move from practice elsewhere.
Generally, we look for evidence of outstanding legal ability, a commitment to or special expertise in one or more of the Firm’s practice areas, and its core values, as well as an established client base or practice. Successful applicants will be outstanding in their fields and are likely to contribute significantly to the Firm’s reputation.
Any inquiry or application can be made either orally or in writing to the Careers Committee. We aim to process all applications as quickly as possible, given the circumstances. We are usually able to complete our procedures within a few weeks.

To support our team of Partners and Senior Associates and the strong demand for work in this area, Zoe, Akyea & Co. invites applications for senior associateship from driven, dynamic, and experienced litigation and arbitration lawyers with a particular expertise in company and shareholder disputes, commercial litigation, financial services, and international arbitration.
We are keen to enhance the service we offer to our clients, and applications are particularly encouraged from lawyers of 5 – 8 years call who wield a growing or established practice in one or more of the above areas.
Applicants should be able to provide evidence of strong performance with respect to their practice, combined with a high level of academic ability.
