Overview

Mrs. Phillipina Adelaide Akyea has been with the Firm for the past 15 years. She first joined the Firm as a pupil in 2007 when she was called to the Bar. She is presently a Managing Partner and the Firm’s Legal Practice Manager (LPM).

During her early years at Zoe, Akyea & Co., she engaged in providing legal services in several areas of law; however, with time, she developed a strong interest and practice in commercial, matrimonial, and corporate law.

Mrs. Akyea sits on the board of several of the Firm’s corporate clients, where she employs her exceptional managerial, leadership, and problem–solving skills to provide legal insight and drive corporate development.

She continues to train junior lawyers, engage clients and immensely impact the Firm through her general oversight role.

As the Legal Practice Manager of Zoe, Akyea & Co., Mrs. Akyea ensures that the Firm strategically develops to maintain the high standards of a first–rate law firm.

Phillipina is a member of the International Bar Association, Commonwealth Lawyers Association, and the ICGC Board of Lawyers.

As a means of giving back to society, Mrs. Phillipina Akyea founded the Pinamaa Foundation, whose core mandate is to improve the social and economic well-being of deprived women and children.
